Alpstein Capital AG is a private investment firm incorporated in Switzerland, with its registered office in Appenzell. The firm operates at the intersection of building and investing: it develops its own software products and holds long-term investments, deploying exclusively proprietary capital.
The firm is wholly owned and led by its founder, Maximilian Rofagha, and is named after the Alpstein massif in the Appenzell Alps — a fitting reference for how it operates: with patience, independence, and a long view.
Build and invest.
Software products
We design, develop, and operate our own consumer software — including native applications for Apple platforms. Products are built in-house, end to end: concept, design, engineering, and distribution.
Long-term holdings
We invest the firm's own capital in businesses and assets we understand, with a multi-year horizon. We do not manage third-party money, raise external funds, or offer investment services to the public.
How we operate.
